Job summary

Acuative, the nation's leading independent provider of telecommunications field services, seeks a Field Service Technician. The successful candidate will cover the MARKET area providing installation and maintenance services to voice and data networks, servers, computer systems, and retail technology systems.

The role requires readiness to travel, lifting up to fifty pounds, and after-hours work. Paid training and ongoing support will be provided, with a company vehicle and gas card.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, Cabling, and PBX are a plus.
• Willingness to attend hardware and cabling training in Strongsville, OH.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain networking hardware including routers, switches, and WAPs.
• Install and maintain telephony equipment and circuits.
• Support retail technology systems and video surveillance hardware.
• Perform circuit extensions and structured cabling.
• Complete site surveys and audits.
• Install LEO satellite receivers and fixed wireless antennas.
• Submit accurate job documents and maintain tools and vehicle.
