Job summary

1 Resource Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to support deep foundation equipment, diagnose and repair mobile machinery including crawler cranes and drilling rigs. You will test electrical and mechanical systems, overhaul when necessary, and document work while ensuring safety and quality standards.

The role requires high school diploma or GED, at least three years in crane repairs, and willingness to travel up to 90% (domestic and international).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of experience as technician in crane business.
• Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 90% of the time.
• Ability to read operating manuals, parts manuals, blueprints and technical drawings.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends, or on-call duty.

Responsibilities

• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair to ensure proper performance.
• Repair or replace damaged or worn parts.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and hand tools.
• Maintain safety and quality standards through inspections and documentation.
• Oversee safe handling and disposal of hazardous wastes.
