Job summary

Konecranes is seeking service technicians who can reside within 1 hour of an airport in the US and travel 95-100% across the Americas. The role involves maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of cranes at customer sites, with a company vehicle provided.

Strong safety discipline and willingness to work at heights are required. Qualified candidates typically have an associate degree in industrial electrical/mechanical technology and at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Prefer two-year associate degree in Industrial Electrical/Mechanical Technology or related field.
• Experience: Minimum one year involving mechanical and/or industrial troubleshooting and repair.
• Salary: $30–$45 per hour; pay determined by skills, location and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance and inspections on cranes at customer locations.
• Conduct extensive on-site mechanical troubleshooting to identify causes and perform repairs.
• Perform on-site repairs as part of maintenance contracts or emergency calls.
• Maintain safety compliance and complete daily paperwork and quotes.
• Communicate with customers, obtain signatures on service reports, and manage documentation.
