Job summary

Cisco-Eagle, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician in San Antonio, TX to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling systems. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, identify parts, and document all work while communicating with customers.

The role includes on-call rotation and supporting installations. Qualified candidates have field service experience, knowledge of Windows software, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Field Service experience is required.
• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance on material handling equipment.
• Electrical experience (220VAC & 24VDC) is preferred.
• Welding ability is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and with CEI techs or install crews.
• Comfort with Windows-based software and diagnostics/documentation.
• Clear written communication; paperwork completed on time.
• High School Diploma or GED; valid driver's license; clean record.

Responsibilities

• Document work orders, forms, POs, and timecards accurately and on time.
• Promote services and provide literature and basic proposals to customers.

What You’ll Do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical & electrical systems (motors, photo eyes, limit switches, E-stops, etc.)
• Identify and procure parts needed to complete service/maintenance
• Communicate clearly with customers before, during, and after work; secure approvals as needed
• Document work: complete work orders, customer forms, POs, timecards, and related paperwork accurately and on time
• Promote services: identify opportunities with existing customers; provide literature and basic proposals
• Maintain your service vehicle: routine maintenance, inventory/supplies, cleanliness
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for our 24-hour service line
• Support installations of new or used material handling systems as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Field Service experience (required)
• Experience with preventive/corrective maintenance on industrial or material handling equipment
• Electrical experience (220VAC & 24VDC) preferred
• Welding ability a plus
• Able to work independently and also collaborate with CEI techs, subcontractors, or install crews
• Comfortable with Windows-based software and using a computer for diagnostics/documentation
• Clear written communication; paperwork completed on time
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
• Background check and drug test required
