Job summary

Donohoe Construction Company in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Service Technician to join our Building Enhancements team. You will work on-site at active construction sites, coordinate with clients and project staff, and ensure safe, high-quality field operations.

Ideal candidates have commercial construction experience, ability to read plans, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience preferred.
• Experience with drywall, paint, and rough carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass government background check.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be able to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean, professional jobsite.
• Effective communication with clients and project management staff.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Manage subcontractor relationships effectively.
• Assist with material take off and estimates.
• Maintain a safe project environment.
• Responsible for turn-key completion of field operations and QA.
• Document work completion and manpower counts daily/weekly.
• Identify change conditions and inform clients and PM team.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with tenants and management.
