Job summary

The Donohoe Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated Service Technician to join our Building Enhancements team in Bethesda, MD. The role involves managing schedules, maintaining safe jobsites, and coordinating with clients and project teams on plans and subcontractors.

We value experience in commercial construction, strong communication, and reliability to ensure quality workmanship and timely project completion on site.

Qualifications

• Commercial construction experience required or strongly preferred.
• Experience with drywall, paint and rough carpentry.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Driver's License with reliable transportation.
• Must pass government background check.
• Excellent communication and organization skills.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules.
• Maintain a safe, clean, professional jobsite.
• Communicate effectively with clients and project management staff.
• Read and interpret plans.
• Manage subcontractor relationships.
• Assist with material take offs and estimates.
• Maintain safety on the project site.
• Ensure turnkey completion of field operations including QA and timely completion.
• Document work completion and manpower counts daily/weekly.
• Identify change conditions and communicate with client and PM team.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and management.
