Electro Freeze Distributors of NYC INC is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver high-quality commercial refrigeration service and maintenance at client locations. You will travel 100% to customer sites from Commack, NY, working a 40-hour week with overtime and one weekend per month on-call support.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean 5-year driving record.
• Active EPA Certification for handling refrigerants.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site startup, diagnostics, and high-precision repairs for commercial refrigeration equipment.
• Recondition equipment in the shop and maintain quality standards on all shop assignments.
• Operate digital and mechanical control circuits to troubleshoot complex low-temperature systems.
• Maintain accurate service documentation, including work orders, mileage tracking, and warranty paperwork.
• Manage company vehicle inventory to ensure tools and replacement parts are always job-ready.
• Execute weekend on-call coverage on a rotating schedule to resolve urgent customer service needs.
• Collaborate with field operations team members to maintain high customer satisfaction standards.
