Job summary

E Weinberg Supply in St. Louis Park, MN is seeking a Field Service Technician to keep commercial laundry equipment running smoothly at customer sites. This hands-on role covers diagnostic repair and preventive maintenance across our Minnesota service area.

You will read wiring diagrams, troubleshoot 120/240V systems, and communicate clearly with customers to ensure satisfaction. Travel to client sites across MN and surrounding states is required.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing commercial or industrial laundry equipment, HVAC, or related mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical service manuals.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for travel to customer sites.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial laundry equipment including washers, dryers, and finishing equipment at customer sites.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections on commercial laundry systems.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to resolve equipment issues.
• Communicate professionally with customers to explain repairs, provide status updates, and ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate service records, parts inventory, and work orders.
• Order and manage replacement parts to complete repairs efficiently and on schedule.
• Travel to customer locations throughout the service area to perform on-site installations and repairs.
