Job summary

Alliance Laundry Systems LLC is seeking a Service Technician to repair and service commercial laundry equipment at customer sites within the Nashville, TN market. The role involves troubleshooting, on-premises repairs, and traveling to various facilities, with a focus on building strong customer relationships and documenting all work and travel activities.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of mechanical repair experience; laundry equipment experience preferred, but not required.
• Working knowledge of electrical testing tools and/or other diagnostic/programming tools.
• Experience in telephone and email/ticketing dispatch system-based customer support preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair commercial laundry equipment (On Premises Laundry & Vended).
• Install replacement parts as needed.
• Accurately document all service activities, including time and materials.
• Accurately document all travel activities, including mileage and fuel purchases.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair work to ensure satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively with service manager, parts department, and vendors to facilitate accurate work product.
• Maintain tools, service equipment, and service vehicle (company supplied).
• Assist the install crews with equipment installations and deliveries.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations.
