Job summary

UST – A Tech24 Company in Ukiah, CA is hiring a Hot & Cold Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment, while delivering exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing ovens, fryers, walk-ins and ice machines, performing preventative maintenance, and documenting calls.

Requires 3–5+ years in commercial repair, valid license, strong troubleshooting, and EPA certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of commercial foodservice or refrigeration repair experience.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking equipment (ovens, fryers, steamers, griddles, warmers).
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair commercial refrigeration systems (walk-ins, reach-ins, prep tables, ice machines).
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure safe, efficient equipment operations.
• Accurately document service calls, parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions in company system.
• Clearly communicate repair status, recommendations, and timelines to customers.
• Manage truck inventory to ensure proper parts and tools are stocked.
• Respond to service calls in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing technical training and professional development opportunities.
