Job summary

General Parts L.L.C. in Dallas, TX is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities and restaurants throughout the area.

You will troubleshoot gas, electric, and steam systems, install replacement parts, and participate in after-hours on-call rotations, with a company vehicle dispatched from home and up to a $6,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification (for refrigeration techs) required or preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts; participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations.
