Job summary

General Parts is hiring a Field Service Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen equipment in schools, healthcare facilities, and restaurants across the service area. The role offers a company vehicle dispatched from home, a $20–$45/hr pay scale based on experience, and a generous benefits package including PTO and 401(k) match.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of field service experience, EPA refrigeration certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience, education, or military training preferred.
• EPA certification (refrigeration techs) preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and pass background/drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment.
• Provide service solutions for gas, electric, and steam systems.
• Order and install replacement parts.
• Participate in after-hours & weekend on-call rotations.
