RCI Doors is seeking an experienced Commercial Door Technician to service customers across the region. You’ll diagnose, repair, install, and maintain commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment, with a field role dispatched from home. A company service truck and tools are provided.

This full-time position requires 3–5 years in the door or related industry, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work from ladders and at varied sites. Safety and customer service are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in the door, construction, or a related industry.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working from ladders, lifts, and at various job sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Dependable, customer-focused, and professional.
• Basic computer/iPad skills and comfort using mobile apps.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical.

Responsabilités

• Installing, servicing, and repairing commercial and industrial doors and dock equipment.
• Completing fire door and automatic door inspections in accordance with safety and compliance standards.
• Performing preventative maintenance to ensure proper door and equipment operation.
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and access control systems.
• Reading blueprints and following installation specifications.
• Working in commercial, industrial, and institutional settings including warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail spaces, and office buildings.
• Using mobile dispatch software to manage job details, service calls, and customer updates.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles in top condition.
• Following all safety procedures on every job.
