Job summary

Farmer Brothers is seeking a Field Equipment Service Technician to install, service, and remove coffee brewing and beverage equipment for a designated customer base. You will handle parts inventory, service call closures, and detailed documentation of work performed.

The role involves on-call responsibilities, after-hours and weekend rotations, and travel within a 100-mile radius of the branch. Strong mechanical/technical experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years mechanical and technical experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Able to travel within 100+ mile radius of branch location.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service installs, repair and removal of coffee and beverage equipment in designated regional geography.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, preventative maintenance, surveys and installations.
• Participate in on-call service including after hours and weekend schedule rotation.
• Maintain spare parts and equipment levels and reorders within replenishment guidelines.
• Document call closures and ensure invoice/signature accuracy from customers.
• Plan, schedule, and execute equipment installations.
