Job summary

CleanDesign Inc. in Houston is seeking a Field Service Electrician to install, commission, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hEMS equipment at drilling rigs, industrial facilities, remote worksites, and our Houston operations.

You will diagnose issues using schematics, test equipment, and CANbus tools, and provide on-site and remote support with cross-functional teams. Frequent travel across the United States, Canada, and Mexico is required.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electrician qualification or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical/control systems and safety procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel across North America.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform field service at drilling rigs, facilities, and remote worksites.
• Install, commission, start up, test, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hEMS equipment and related systems.
• Modify and integrate equipment with customer power houses and supporting systems.
• Diagnose issues using drawings, test equipment, logs, readings, and CANbus tools.
• Provide on-site and remote support in coordination with other teams.
• Maintain service tickets, travel status, and documentation through resolution.
• Complete service reports, safety analyses, commissioning records, photos, and customer sign-offs.
• Support factory testing and pre-deployment work when not in the field.
• Follow safety requirements and PPE guidelines.
