Job summary

Dover Grease Traps, a Liquid Environmental Solutions company, seeks a CDL A or B Field Service Technician to service local grease traps in Fraser, MI. You will operate vacuum trucks, perform pumping and cleaning, and report to the shop daily with on‑call rotation. Training is provided and routes are local with home daily.

Applicants must have a CDL Class A or B license and tanker endorsement with air brakes, and be able to lift up to 55 lbs. Overtime and benefits are included.

Location: 16585 E 13 Mile Road, Fraser, MI 48026

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Occasional Saturdays as needed

Shift: Approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Job Type: Full-Time | Local Routes (Home Daily)

Pay

Pay starts at $32.00 per hour for a Class A and $30 per hour for a Class B

No prior grease trap or industry experience required — we will train you!

Higher starting pay available based on CDL experience and relevant background.

Position Overview

Dover Grease Traps, a Liquid Environmental Solutions company, is seeking a CDL A or B Field Service Technician to support our grease trap service operations in Fraser, Michigan.

This position performs hands‑on service work using vacuum equipment to clean and maintain commercial grease traps. This is not long‑haul trucking — technicians report to the shop daily, service local routes, and return home each night.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled grease trap pumping and cleaning at customer locations
• Operate CDL A or B vacuum trucks and related service equipment
• Need to have at a minimum 12 months driving a commercial vehicle
• Handle hoses, tools, and materials safely and efficiently
• Interact professionally with customers while on site
• Accurately complete service documentation and electronic logs
• Utilize fleet technology and onboard systems as required
• Follow all DOT, safety, and environmental compliance standards
• Participate in rotating on‑call coverage (approximately 5 days per month)
• Comfortable using ELD systems
• Comfortable with fleet management and routing software
• Willing and able to follow technology‑based safety and compliance processes
