Job summary

Zeus Fire and Security is seeking a mid‑level technician to independently complete basic‑to‑intermediate installations and troubleshoot small commercial systems. You will work with moderate supervision and may train Entry technicians on complex tasks.

You will install cabling per standards, configure intrusion and CCTV systems, and provide end‑user training for L1/L2 systems while reading plans and schematics and coordinating with the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in low-voltage/security installation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate preferred.
• Competent in structured cabling installation, device termination, conduit bending and system programming.
• Familiar with CCTV, intrusion and PACS platforms.
• Frequent problem solving and occasional independent decision‑making.
• Supervised work with ability to interpret project plans.

Responsibilities

• Independently install and terminate structured cabling for small to mid‑size projects.
• Install and configure intrusion systems, CCTV, and multi‑door access control.
• Program devices, test, commission, and train end users for L1/L2 systems.
• Read construction plans, shop drawings, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform basic conduit bending, retrofit rough‑ins, and mount racks.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and liaise with Project Manager.
