Quincy Compressor in Bloomington, IL is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform on-site service, repair, and maintenance of air compressors and related systems. You will travel within your assigned area to support customers and ensure uptime, safety, and performance of equipment.

You join a field service team, provide on-site recommendations, handle on-call rotations, and communicate clearly with customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a technician.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• Must supply basic hand tools.

• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair air compressors and components.
• Perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians.

Through your work, you help customers secure the uptime and performance they need to run their operations with confidence. You join the Customer Center Service team and report into the Operations Manager.

• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various air compressorssystems and componets. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7/365 on-call pool with other Technicians as scheduled by the ServiceManager.

Your skills and experience

• You have a valid driver's license.
• You have 3 years of experience as a technician.
• You have expertise in mechanical, electrical, or electronic repair.
• You can supply all basic required hand tools

Salary based on knowledge, skills, and experience: $55,000-80,000 year

You will be part of our Quincy Compressorcustomer center in Bloomington, United States (US). You join a field service team that works close to our customers, where most of your time is spent traveling within your assigned area to support them on-site.
