Job summary

The ICEE Company is seeking a Service Technician in Lansing, MI to service ICEE and restaurant equipment, including dispensers, ice makers, and juice dispensers. You will operate with minimal supervision and attend weekly service-center meetings.

Responsibilities include maintenance, repairs, inventory upkeep, and clear communication with customers and team members. Requires a valid Real-ID and ability to lift 55 lbs+; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong mechanical background.
• Graduate of Technical or Vocational school, preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Real-ID Driver’s License.
• Ability to lift 55 lbs. or more regularly; occasional over 70 lbs.
• Willing to drive more than 40% of the time.
• Must wear steel-toed shoes.

Responsibilities

• Receives dispatched service calls and responds with ETA.
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs; checks syrup levels and cleaning.
• Maintains inventory and upkeep of equipment and company vehicle.
• Documents work and communicates with customers and supervisor.
• Performs warehouse duties: cleaning, organizing, shipping/receiving.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
