Job summary

Eos Energy Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission, and support Eos commercial BESS and third-party products in the field. You will work with field tools, dashboards, and customer training to ensure optimal performance.

The role requires travel up to 100% of the time, domestic and international, for extended deployments, and involves working at heights and in challenging environments. A high school diploma and relevant electrical experience are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years field experience in Electrical/Electronics/Power electronics or network communications recommended.
• Trade or vocational college focusing on electrical work/renewable energy/electronics preferred.
• Prior experience in renewable energy energy storage strongly preferred.
• Electrical safety training NFPA70E or similar.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair and analyze Eos commercial BESS and third-party products in the field, remotely via email, telephone and on-site visits.
• Utilize Field Service and Work Order Management tools to retrieve and update information timely and accurately.
• Write reports, train customers, and respond to customers’ concerns regarding functionality and performance of their system.
• Develop detailed knowledge of Eos’ commercial products and third-party products sold by Eos.
• Travel up to 100% domestically and internationally; work at field installations up to three weeks at a time.
• Operate with high voltage DC, three-phase power, and relevant software of BESS and third-party products.
