Job summary

Keystone Clearwater Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls to support our automated water transfer systems in the field. This hands-on role installs, maintains sensors, troubleshoots electronics, and configures devices at remote customer sites.

You will split time between field work and shop-based repairs, report to the Manager of Automated Operations, and travel regionally with occasional overnight stays. 12-hour shifts may apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of oil & gas or relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Positive, safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig down automation equipment on site

As a Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls, you’ll support our automated water transfer systems in the field. This technical, hands‑on role involves installing and maintaining sensors, troubleshooting electronics, configuring devices, and ensuring safe and efficient operations at remote customer sites. You'll split time between field work and shop‑based equipment repairs, reporting directly to the Manager of Automated Operations. This role is based out of our Triadelphia, WV Automation Shop.

Responsibilities

• Set up and rig down automation equipment on site
• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on sensors, valves, and controls
• Use hand tools, diagnostic gear, and software to configure and test systems
• Respond to field service calls and troubleshoot real‑time issues
• Interact with clients and represent the company professionally onsite

• Travel regionally, often to remote locations, with occasional overnight stays
