Keystone Clearwater Solutions is seeking a Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls in Steubenville, OH. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain sensors and controls on remote water transfer systems, splitting time between field work and shop repairs.

You’ll report to the Manager of Automated Operations and work in a safety-first, collaborative environment with opportunities for growth. Expect 12-hour shifts and travel as required, with field-based responsibilities year-round.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of oil & gas or relevant industrial experience.
• Experience with electrical wiring, electronics, or instrumentation.
• Familiarity with multimeters, computers, and basic networking.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team in fast-paced environments.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly.
• Positive, safety-first mindset with a desire to grow and learn.
• Field-Based | Full-Time | 12-hour shifts possible | Travel and overnight stays as required.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Description

As a Field Service Technician – Automation & Controls, you’ll support our automated water transfer systems in the field. This technical, hands‑on role involves installing and maintaining sensors, troubleshooting electronics, configuring devices, and ensuring safe and efficient operations at remote customer sites. You'll split time between field work and shop‑based equipment repairs, reporting directly to the Manager of Automated Operations. This role is based out of our Triadelphia, WV Automation Shop.
