Job summary

dormakaba Americas is seeking a Field Service Technician in Wichita, KS to install and service automatic doors and related equipment. You will perform maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer sites operate safely and reliably.

The role requires travel within the territory, physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a valid driver's license. AAADM certification is preferred, with benefits starting Day One.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overhead.
• Experience with installation/maintenance of automatic doors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of automatic sliding door systems at customer locations.
• Communicate with sales and service management about customer needs and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate project and/or service data through documentation and data entry.
• Travel to customer sites within territory, including day trips and occasional overnight travel.
