Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Field Service Technician - Remote (Arizona area).

Reporting to the Director, Field Applications, the Field Service Technician - Remote (Arizona area) is responsible for providing service and support at customer sites throughout their assigned territory.

Typical Daily Responsibilities

• Provide installation supervision, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and repair work for low voltage distribution gear, transformers, and related power distribution equipment in a professional manner.
• Prepare technical reports/test sheets, monitor spare parts, tools/equipment, consumables, etc.
• Maintain and follow safety regulations for the company and specific sites where working.
• Attend all relevant site meetings.
• Interface with Project Management and Site personnel.
• Provide excellent customer service, listening to and addressing client needs and escalating issues as necessary.
• Communicate regularly with Project Managers, relaying information effectively.
• Proactively work to eliminate waste and add value to processes.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and maintain safe work practices.
• Follow company policies and rules.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Desired Experience and Qualifications

• Associates degree in electrical power distribution or related field, or 5+ years of similar experience. Military experience and Data Center or mission-critical system experience are preferred.
• Experience working with electrical power distribution systems, power monitoring systems, AC/DC electrical power, and communication protocols. 3-5 years' experience in designing low voltage switchgear assemblies/systems and power distribution equipment is preferred.
• Knowledge of UL Standards such as UL67, UL1008, UL1008S, UL60950, UL891, UL1558, and others.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
• Proficiency with test equipment including multimeters, current meters, and related devices.

Compensation

Pay range for US remote candidates: $66,300 - $91,100 annually. Actual pay varies depending on location.
