Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners in Watertown NY is seeking a skilled Service Technician to diagnose and repair John Deere equipment and technology in the field and shop. You will mentor trainees, support customer clinics, and ensure accurate work orders.

You will maintain tools and vehicles, follow safety rules, stay current on Deere products, and collaborate in a team to meet performance metrics. A valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Conduct or support customer clinics.
• Maintain complete and thorough documentation of diagnostics and repairs performed on work orders.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Work cooperatively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
