Job summary

Quality Equipment, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician for our Loris store to diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment. You will handle disassembly, assembly and service tasks, reporting results to the Service Manager and ensuring safe operation for customers.

You must have 3+ years of repair experience, strong knowledge of engines, electrical and hydraulic systems, plus ability to read manuals and operate diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Ability to write diagnosis and work completed on routine reports (repair orders).
• Proficient knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical systems and/or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use PC and various types of diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic repairs using tools following Technical Manual procedures.
• Ability to speak effectively one-on-one with customers.
• Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes.
• Valid driver’s license for potential driving situations.
• Forklift operation is preferred.
• Must possess set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Disassembles, assembles, and repairs components and machines.
• Reports additional work required to the Service Manager.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
• Follows safety rules and regulations in performing tasks.
