Job summary

Quality Equipment, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician in Laurinburg to service John Deere equipment and AMS products. You will diagnose, repair, and assemble components, and ensure accurate repair orders and safe operation at customer sites.

The role requires 3+ years in service repairs, strong knowledge of engines and hydraulics, PC use, and a valid driver’s license. A forklift skill is a plus and a tools set is mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience performing service repairs.
• Able to write diagnosis and repair orders.
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems.
• Proficient with PC and diagnostic equipment.
• Able to read safety rules and manuals.
• Able to perform basic repairs using tools with TM procedures.
• Communicate effectively with customers.
• Valid driver’s license; forklift experience preferred.
• Must possess set of tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostic and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Disassembles, assembles, and repairs components and machines.
• Completes service orders and detail of work performed.
• Reports additional work to the Service Manager for proper operation.
• Participates in training and maintains clean, safe work area.
• Maintains time and materials records.
