Job summary

Service Motor Company is seeking a dedicated service technician to inspect, maintain, repair and set up agricultural, construction, and turf equipment. You will provide top-notch customer service in person, on the phone, and at the dealership to support our growing team.

The role includes hands-on repair work, on-site service calls, and collaboration with the service management team. A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, with up to 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Examines equipment and uses EST to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
• Dismantles equipment for repair using hand and power tools.
• Completes maintenance and repairs on equipment.
• Has basic knowledge of manufacturing warranty policies and procedures.
• Correctly reassemble equipment for repair.
• Assembles attachments as needed.
• Tests voltage and ohms using a multimeter.
• Repairs legacy equipment and performs field service repairs.
• Operates and tests equipment to ensure repairs meet customer expectations.
• Performs on-site service calls and documents time punches in Intellidealer.
• Reviews work orders and plans the required parts and steps.
• Maintains records of work performed in Intellidealer.
• Creates pick lists for parts and coordinates with parts department.
• Performs Pre-DeliveryInspections to ensure equipment is ready for delivery or display.
• Notifies service management of issues impacting on-time completion.
