Field Service Technician – 100% Travel (Rotational Position 4 weeks traveling, 1 week off)

This position offers a unique opportunity for travel and hands-on technical work within the renewable energy sector. The role involves performing major component replacements, repairs, and training across the Invenergy fleet, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.

Locations Included:

• Must reside in one of the following states:
• Nebraska
• New Mexico
• Kansas
• Oklahoma
• Colorado
• Texas

Responsibilities:

• Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group professionally to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults in equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel on safety, preventive, reactive maintenance, and operational support systems.
• Lead teams in performing major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform inspections and compile reports.
• Complete reporting and update procedures.
• Ensure all activities adhere to safety policies.
• Travel in 4-week intervals, returning home for a week off.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of technical experience or education in mechanical, electrical, or related fields.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).
• Valid driver’s license with a good record.
• Ability to work at heights over 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight limit of 120 kg (265 lbs.), excluding gear.
• Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Skills:

• 2+ years of technical experience related to renewable energy systems.
• Strong electrical and mechanical system knowledge.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.
• Experience with multiple platforms and troubleshooting software systems.
• Ability to work independently and safely.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing. The salary ranges from $31.67 to $51.58 per hour, with potential bonuses and benefits.
