Job Description

As a Field Service Technician – 100%, you will perform and train on major component replacements and repair services across the Invenergy fleet, ensuring all activities are performed safely and in accordance with company policies.

Responsibilities include:

• Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group to internal and external parties.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults across various equipment platforms.
• Train site personnel in operations, safety, preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Lead teams in performing major component replacements and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, hydraulic issues.
• Perform inspections and compile reports.
• Complete reporting requirements and revise procedures as needed.
• Travel for 4-week intervals with a week off, away from home.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of technical experience or education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work at heights over 80 meters (250 feet).
• Weight must not exceed 120 kg (265 lbs.), excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Skills

• Two or more years of related technical experience or education.
• Interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Self-motivated, with good communication skills.
• Experience with multiple platforms and troubleshooting software systems.
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision.

This is a safety-sensitive position requiring drug testing and negative results prior to employment.

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly pay: $31.67 - $51.58 USD, plus 0%-10% bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, profit sharing, paid time off, and more.
