Position Details

This position is open for applications for at least 3 days from the posting date. The role involves performing major component replacements and repairs across our fleet, ensuring safety and adherence to policies. Expect to travel away from home for 4-week intervals, returning home for a week off.

Locations

• Must reside in Michigan, Indiana, Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma, or Texas.

Responsibilities

1. Represent Invenergy and the Field Service Group professionally.
2. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults.
3. Train site personnel on operations, safety, and maintenance.
4. Lead major component replacements and repairs.
5. Diagnose complex electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic issues.
6. Perform inspections and report findings.
7. Complete documentation and procedural updates.
8. Ensure all activities are performed safely.
9. Travel in 4-week intervals, returning for a week off.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 1 year of technical experience or education.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work outdoors, climb ladders, and lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs.).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Ability to work at heights over 80 meters.
• Weight not exceeding 120 kg (265 lbs.) excluding gear.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical experience related to renewable energy systems.
• Interest in electrical and mechanical systems.
• Self-motivated with good communication skills.
• Experience with multiple platforms and troubleshooting software.
• Ability to work safely with limited supervision.

Additional Information

This is a safety-sensitive role requiring drug testing. Compensation includes hourly pay ($31.67 - $51.58) plus bonuses (0-10%) and benefits such as health insurance, 401k, and paid time off. Invenergy is an equal opportunity employer.
