We are seeking reliable and self-motivated Field Service Technicians to support our Mid-Atlantic and Midwest territories with hands-on technical work on food manufacturing, deli weighing, and slicing equipment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills and a customer-first mindset.
Industrial Field Service:
- 11-week, paid training
- Starts May 29, 2025, | Richmond, VA
- Supports PA, NJ, & NY
- Ideal candidate location: Eastern PA, Central NJ, or Southern NY
Retail Field Service:
- 6-week, paid training
- Starts July 10, 2025, | Richmond, VA
- Territory-
VA/Washington, DC: Ideal candidate location: Richmond or Northern VA
Responsibilities:
- Perform on-site and remote service: installations, repairs, and preventative maintenance on food manufacturing and deli equipment
- Configure and troubleshoot wired/wireless network-connected devices
- Deliver clear, professional communication with customers; provide technical support and equipment training
- Travel to customer sites with flexible scheduling, including rotational on-call/weekends/holidays (typically home nightly)
- Handle and lift equipment (60–80 lbs) in various work environments
- Maintain accurate service logs, timely closeout of work orders, and prompt expense reporting (ADP/SIS systems)
- Manage personal parts inventory; conduct annual counts
- Ensure upkeep of company-issued tools, vehicle, and equipment
- Collaborate with HQ on technical issues; create and update documentation for installs and service procedures
- Support service contracts, remote e-service, and on-call rotations
Your Profile:
- Associate degree or equivalent technical experience
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PC-based or processor-controlled equipment
- Basic computer proficiency; familiarity with TCP/IP and communication protocols
- Excellent customer service; professional, self-motivated, and organized
- Able to travel frequently (50–80%) with occasional overnights for Industrial
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
