Sagent LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service a regional territory with a focus on troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of commercial equipment used in grocery and retail environments. The role offers independence, training, and the chance to work with a supportive team.
You’ll be home nightly in most cases, travel daily within your region, and receive onboarding and ongoing technical training. A valid driver’s license and mechanical aptitude are required.
Sagent is growing our Field Service team and looking for mechanically and technically skilled professionals who enjoy troubleshooting, solving problems, and working independently in the field.
As a Field Service Technician, you'll support customers throughout an assigned regional territory, servicing commercial equipment including scales, slicers, ovens, wrapping systems, packaging equipment, and related technology commonly used in grocery, deli, retail, and similar environments.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role with plenty of independence — backed by training, experienced technicians, and technical support when you need it. Most service is performed within your assigned region, and technicians are typically home nightly.
Technical education, formal training, and previous field service experience are preferred; however, we also value candidates with the right combination of hands‑on experience, mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and willingness to learn.
Daily driving is an important part of this position, with travel throughout an assigned regional territory. Technicians are typically home nightly, although customer and business needs may occasionally require overtime, participation in an on‑call rotation, overnight travel, or temporary support of another service region.
This is an active, hands‑on position performed in a variety of customer environments. Technicians must be able to safely perform the physical requirements of field service work, with or without reasonable accommodation, and meet applicable safety, licensing, certification, and pre‑employment screening requirements.
All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, status as an individual with a disability, or any other protected class or combination of protected classes.
