Job summary

Power Motive is seeking a Field Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and service heavy equipment at customer sites. You will disassemble, assemble and test components while following safety guidelines and maintaining professional conduct in front of customers.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, DOT/Medical Card credentials, and frequent travel (50–100%). A CDL-B is preferred and you will operate in various industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of heavy equipment mechanical experience required.
• Must hold valid DOT and/or Medical Card credentials.
• CDL-B preferred.
• Willing to travel 50-100% of the time.
• Ability to diagnose, disassemble/assemble and repair components.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and determine required repairs on heavy equipment.
• Test proper operation of machines after service.
• Disassemble, reassemble, repair and install components as needed.
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and proper tool care.
• Prepare reports and time logs for service activities.
• Coordinate with Service Manager and customers to ensure positive experience.

Power Motive is currently seeking a Field Service Technician. Our technicians receive work direction from our Service Mangers. Work will be conducted in a safe, professional, and timely manner. We require our technicians to be able to test for proper operations, diagnose, identify, and repair heavy equipment and other machinery problems. Perform component removal, disassembly, rebuild and installation in a timely and efficient manner. Our technicians must be able to safely operate all machines and work in a safe manner.
