Position Summary:

• Test Equipment Distributors, LLC (TED) is seeking a Field Service Technician - NDT, AZ for a full-time, remote position covering the Southwestern United States and Mexico. The technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing NDT equipment at customer locations, ensuring that systems operate safely, accurately, and reliably.
• The role includes preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, repairs, and documentation of service activities in accordance with company standards. The technician will also work directly with customers to explain completed work, provide basic equipment-operation training, and coordinate with the project management team to support the timely completion of service assignments.

Education & Training:

Technical Skills & Experience:

• Strong equipment maintenance and maintenance skills for NDT and related industrial equipment.
• Preventive maintenance skills for scheduled inspections and routine service tasks.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance and repair skills for diagnosing faults and restoring equipment to proper operation.
• Technical aptitude with mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems.
• Prior field service or industrial maintenance experience is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.

Professional Skills:

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently at customer sites.
• Ability to maintain accurate service records.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel to customer locations as required.
• Ability to meet the physical demands associated with equipment handling and onsite work.
