Dorner Company is seeking a Field Service Technician in Sussex, Wisconsin. This position involves installing, servicing, and repairing valves and valve automation equipment. Candidates will work closely with experienced technicians and be responsible for customer site visits, which require frequent travel throughout Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.

The Field Service Technician will need the willingness and drive to learn the knowledge to install, service, and repair valves and valve automation equipment. This tech will be working hand in hand with an experienced service tech to learn the products and procedures of what we do. The position requires frequent travel to customer sites (primarily within Wisconsin and Northern Illinois). When not traveling to customer sites, the technician will help in the home office service shop.
As a Field Service Technician, you will be part of our customer support team and your enthusiasm for providing exceptional field service will directly contribute to our best‑in‑class customer support. You will need to communicate with customers, inside sales staff, and outside sales staff in an open, helpful, and engaging manner, emphasizing delivering the best overall solution to our customers. This customer‑facing position will require you to be an ambassador for Dorner Co, whose technical expertise and communication will help us retain our preferred supplier status.
