Job summary

agpro nz limited is seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our Sunnyside, WA team. The role focuses on mastering the latest dairy equipment and services, outdoors, with a positive team atmosphere among our crew.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with farming or construction backgrounds, hold a valid driver's license, and can pass a drug screen. Some on-call work and variable weather are expected in this field.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with farming, welding or construction preferred.
• Clean driving record and a valid driver's license.
• Must pass a drug screen (pre-employment and random).
• Comfortable working in rural areas and all weather conditions.
• Occasionally on-call for service and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and install dairy equipment on farms (pumps, separators, fans, piping, valves).
• Perform hands-on repairs and installations to ensure equipment functionality.
• Repair and fabricate items using cutting, burning and welding techniques.
• Operate agricultural equipment including telehandlers, lifts, excavators, loaders, skidsteers, trucks, and trailers.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Job Title: Field Service Technician

We are an agricultural contracting company seeking an experienced Field Service Technician to join our team in Sunnyside, WA. Our company is actively involved in commercial and agricultural service and development projects. We are expanding and require additional team members to support our growth. This role will focus on mastering the latest dairy equipment and services. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and install various dairy equipment such as pumps, separators, fans, piping, and valves on farms.


• Perform hand-on repairs and installations to ensure equipment functionality.


• Repairs and fabricates various items and equipment using cutting, burning, and welding techniques and equipment.


• Operates agricultural equipment to include, but not limited to telehandlers, lifts, excavators, loaders, skidsteers, trucks, and trailers.


• Other duties as assigned.

• You should be mechanically-inclined with a background in farming, welding, or construction preferred.

• Due to the nature of work, you may occasionally be on-call for service and repairs.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.


• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push and/or pull 50-pound loads at a time.
