Job summary

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Field Service Technician to support agricultural facilities with setup and troubleshooting of ventilation, waste handling and grain/feed handling systems.

The role involves on-site service, installation, maintenance and testing, plus diagnosing issues and providing timely solutions. You will complete work orders and time sheets accurately while keeping up with product knowledge through ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Self-starter with ability to troubleshoot and repair technical equipment.
• Vocational training or certification preferred but not required.
• Willing to work at customer sites and manage on-site tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits to agriculture facilities
• Manage installation, repair, maintenance and testing tasks on-site
• Set up and troubleshoot controls for ventilation, waste handling and grain/feed systems
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions
• Maintain knowledge of products, technology and models by participating in educational opportunities
• Complete all work orders and time sheets in a legible, accurate, and timely manner
• Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
