Job summary

CFS Technologies in Seattle seeks a Service Technician to travel the surrounding area, performing preventative and responsive maintenance on our handwashing systems for customers. This role offers a competitive salary and robust benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in machine maintenance preferred.
  • Familiar with basic plumbing, mechanical, and electrical operations.
  • Willing and able to travel regularly for work, up to 80% of the time.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software to complete logs/records.
  • Detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Team player and able to operate in a group environment.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Goal-oriented and able to manage time and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work with hand tools (drills, saws, grinders).
  • Proficient in basic English reading, writing, and math; HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Review design specifications to understand scope and function of products.
  • Travel to client locations to perform diagnostic and preventive routines.
  • Conduct testing to ensure products meet requirements and guidelines.
  • Ensure products meet company and customer quality and integrity requirements.
  • Identify, log, and fix malfunctions or defects in performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment or devices.
  • Assist root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective actions.
  • Use machines and hand tools to complete tasks.
  • Comply with health and safety laws and PPE requirements.
  • Inventory tools, parts, and supplies and report needs to supervisor.

We are looking for an experienced (or eager to learn) individual to join our team as a Service Technician. In this role, you will travel the surrounding area providing preventative and/or responsive maintenance on our one-of-a-kind handwashing systems for our customers. Typical travel schedules are Monday - Thursday, often overnight, with Friday designated as a work-from-home day for administrative tasks, meetings, training, etc.

What We Offer You
  • $60,000.00 – $65,000.00 annual salary to start (plus monthly bonus), payroll every other Thursday.

Job Description

  • Inventory tools, parts, and supplies periodically and communicate needs to supervisor in a timely fashion.
Job Requirements

  • Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing, sitting, leaning, crouching, and reaching to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Frequently: Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to evaluate, test, and modify equipment with or without hand tools as needed.
  • Frequently: Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs, and electronic components.
  • Frequently: Must be able to crouch, bend, reach, and lean to inspect equipment.
  • Frequently: Carry, lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds at a time.
  • Frequently: Prolonged periods of standing and moving about in various client environments.
