Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Field Services Technician in San Jose, CA to support the engineering team with assembly, refurbishment, and repair of semiconductor equipment, specifically Nokia semiconductor systems. The role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Technician / Assembly Technician to support the Engineering team with the assembly, refurbishment, and repair of semiconductor equipment, specifically Nokia semiconductor systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineers with disassembling and reassembling semiconductor systems using small hand tools.
• Replace and install new components according to engineering specifications.
• Perform mechanical assembly, equipment modifications, and basic troubleshooting.
• Follow work instructions, diagrams, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support engineering projects and other technical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience using small hand tools in a manufacturing, assembly, technician, or semiconductor environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and work independently.
• Previous experience with semiconductor equipment, electronics, or manufacturing is a plus.
