Northwest Partners is seeking a Field Service Technician for a premier Parking Solutions client in San Francisco, CA.

The Field Service Technician supports the technological needs of the client’s organization, acting as the liaison between the business and IT, providing complex technical solutions that meet user needs. Job Description:

Position: Field Service Technician

Division: Parking Solutions

Reports To: Director of Service-West

Interfaces with: Technical Personnel at Location

Location: San Francisco, CA / other customer sites as directed

Essential Job Functions:

• Represent the company at customer sites by performing installation and service activities under the direction of the National Service Manager.
• Ensure equipment operation through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, following repair instructions, and evaluating equipment and techniques.
• Maintain accurate service records, including client signatures.
• Manage spare parts inventory following documented guidelines.
• Resolve customer issues by collaborating with GmbH and Inc. technical staff.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to organizational standards and legal regulations.
• Contribute to team efforts by embracing new work requirements, exploring opportunities to add value, and assisting others as needed.

Job Requirements:

• AS degree in electronics or related technical field preferred; equivalent education, certifications, and experience may be considered.
• 3-5+ years of troubleshooting and field repair experience with electrical and mechanical-electrical systems.
• Experience in networking, TCP/IP.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, organizational skills, and ability to self-direct in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. continuously.
• Valid driver’s license required.
