Culligan by WaterCo is hiring a field service technician in Sacramento, CA. The role involves servicing residential and commercial water treatment equipment, performing diagnostics, and ensuring high-quality customer interactions.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company vehicle in compliance with DOT laws.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Perform diagnostics, install or remove residential and commercial water treatment equipment and resolve issues.
• Represent Culligan through direct interaction with customers; communicate equipment status and solutions.
• Collect payments upon service completion and assist with past due receivables.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Safe operation of a Company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Perform complete equipment diagnostics, installation or removal on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues accordingly.
• Represent Culligan thought direct interaction with customers.Communicate the status of equipment with customers and provide solutions.
• Collect payments upon completion of services.Assist with collection of past due receivables.

Where you will work:

• This position will be based in the Sacramento, CA office with occasional travel to area Culligan branches on an as needed basis
• Appropriate, valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of the city area where you would be working
• Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
• Please note that employees who are offered a position are subject to a DOT physical (at time of hire and every two years after), a drug screen and a background check in accordance with state and Federal laws
• Minimum one year of plumbing experience is required

Essential Functions:

• Qualified candidates must have the ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Drive for extended periods (2-3 hours)
• Kneel/bend for extended periods of time
