Position Overview

This position reports to the Service Manager and involves executing service work according to work instructions, ABB quality, and safety guidelines. You will deliver quality customer service, plan and execute service work based on customer orders and expectations, and communicate effectively to ensure customer retention.

The work model is remote, contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the Atlantic Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and eliminate pain points during on-site visits.
• Perform field service tasks, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze problems remotely or on-site for certified products/services.
• Prepare material lists and ensure availability and quality of materials, parts, and equipment.
• Act as a trainer for field service associates and customers when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of professional experience or an equivalent military background.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields preferred; Associates Degree with relevant experience acceptable.
• Ability to travel up to 75%, including nights and weekends.
• Experience with 3-phase power distribution equipment (UPS, PDU, STS, Panelboards, etc.) or similar military/field service experience.
• Work authorization for the US is required.
