Job Description

The Renewance Field Service Technician will provide customers with technical support for industrial batteries used in stationary energy storage systems, EV applications, and other battery related assignments. This includes hands on installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of batteries and associated hardware. The Level II Field Service Technician must be able to diagnose and resolve most technical issues to ensure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the product life. They can identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues with limited supervision, while knowing when and how to elevate challenges appropriately. The selected candidate can expect a fast paced, exciting learning environment through the rapid growth of the business.

This role requires 75%+ regional travel to customer sites.

The pay range for this role is $27.00-$45.00 based on previous experience and applicable certifications. Offered pay is determined through the interview process.

• Work independently while collaborating with customers and internal teams.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED, technical or trade degree, or equivalent experience.


• 2+ year of field service, electrical power, renewable energy, industrial electrical, or similar experience.


• Electrical or technical troubleshooting experience.


• Experience with controls, firmware, software, or diagnostic tools preferred.


• Strong communication and customer service skills.


• Safety-focused, dependable, and willing to learn.


• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varying conditions.


• Ability and willingness to travel 75%+.
