We are looking for a Field Service Technician based out of our Oklahoma City, OK branch. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and a few years of technician experience.

What you'll be doing...

As a Field Service Technician, you will create an Exceptional Client Experience while providing onsite repair and installation on a variety of dental equipment. Your well-developed client relationship building and positive communication skills are key to success in this role. Burkhart technicians are expected to demonstrate technical and customer service skills, serving as role models for others. We support career development through training, online classes, and manufacturer basic core equipment training.

• Providing an exceptional client experience by building relationships and performing timely repairs and installations for basic and complex equipment/projects.
• Supporting Burkhart's profitability by completing all service orders promptly, reviewing work performed and parts used with clients or responsible staff before leaving.
• Completing repairs that impress by troubleshooting and performing repairs that keep our offices operational. Educating staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Leading installation teams to ensure on-time project completion, completing punch-lists, and avoiding callbacks.
• Working safely by following safety protocols, using PPE, being alert, lifting properly, driving safely, reporting hazards, and following jobsite rules.
• Communicating professionally and timely with customers and internal teams regarding project progress.
• Following policies and procedures, including safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and accident management. Driving assigned vehicles responsibly.
• Maintaining van inventory and tools in good condition, demonstrating organization and preparedness.
• Attending training and meetings, seeking assistance proactively, meeting learning milestones, and demonstrating competency.

What you'll need...

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience.
• At least 3 years of technician experience with various equipment.
• Ability to travel by car and plane to client sites, meetings, and trainings, with up to 50% out-of-town travel.
• Valid driver's license, a good driving record, and insurability. No special commercial license required.

Preferred additional education/experience includes vocational training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, military technical training, project lead experience, and dental experience.

Salary Info:

• Competitive base salary plus eligibility for quarterly bonuses and profit sharing.
