What you’ll be doing…

As a Field Service Technician, you will create an exceptional client experience by providing onsite repair and installation of dental equipment. Your client relationship skills and positive communication are key to success. Burkhart promotes career development through training, online classes, and manufacturer basic core equipment training.

• Provide an exceptional client experience by building relationships and performing timely repairs and installations.
• Support Burkhart’s profitability by completing service orders promptly and reviewing work and parts with clients or staff before leaving.
• Perform repairs that keep offices operational, troubleshooting and educating staff on equipment use and maintenance.
• Lead installation teams, ensure timely project completion, and complete punch-lists with no callbacks.
• Work safely, using proper PPE, reporting hazards, and following safety protocols.
• Communicate professionally with clients and internal teams regarding service progress.
• Follow policies including safe driving, vehicle maintenance, and cleanliness; drive assigned vehicles.
• Maintain van inventory and tools, demonstrating organization and preparedness.
• Attend training and meetings, seek assistance proactively, and demonstrate competency.

What you’ll need…

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of customer service experience.
• 3+ years of technician experience on various equipment.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, including driving and flying.
• Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and ability to drive various vehicles.

Additional Education/Experience:

• Vocational or military technical training in mechanics, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics.
• Project lead experience.
• Dental industry experience.

Salary Info:

• Base salary of $55,000 - $70,000 plus quarterly bonuses and profit sharing.
