Field Service Technician

Location: Remote, Based in OK

Are you a mechanically-minded problem solver with PLC experience?

Do you love being hands-on, travelling and working directly with cutting-edge machinery?

We are recruiting a Field Service Technician to join our client who is a leading manufacturer in processing & packaging equipment for the food industry. You will play a key role in installing, servicing and maintaining customer equipment.

What You'll Do:

• Install and set up new equipment using your mechanical and electrical know-how
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, manuals, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions - Electrical / Mechanical and PLCs (Allen Bradley)
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and equipment upgrades
• Provide technical training and support for customers and fellow technicians
• Deliver clear and detailed trip/service reports

What We're Looking For:

• Strong track-record working in a Field Service role
• Proven hands-on experience working on complex equipment and machinery
• Aptitude for Electrical & Mechanical troubleshooting & repair
• PLC programming
• Ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
• Located near an International Airport
• Valid Drivers License
• Right to work in the U.S without sponsorship.
• Desirable: Experience working on packaging or processing equipment.
