Job summary

Field Service Technician - Boiler & Pump Systems

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI 53051

Service Area: Wisconsin & Upper Peninsula of Michigan

Position Summary

We are looking for a Field Service Technician to provide startup, troubleshooting, repair, warranty, and technical support for boilers, pumps, burners, and hydronic/steam systems.

This position is ideal for someone with hands‑on experience in commercial/industrial combustion equipment, boiler systems, pumps, electrical troubleshooting, and burner controls. The technician will work directly with customers and support the company's sales team.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform equipment startup, warranty service, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Service boilers, pumps, burners, and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot steam and hydronic heating systems.
• Read electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Use combustion analyzers and make required combustion adjustments.
• Support sales teams with technical support, equipment/parts identification, and customer solutions.
• Provide customer and owner training on equipment operation.
• Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication.
• Travel to customer job sites throughout Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
• Attend training as required.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with combustion equipment, such as:
  • Power burners
  • Packaged boilers
  • High-efficiency condensing boilers
• 2+ years of experience with hydronic pumps and associated motors.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical circuits and reading wiring diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of combustion systems and experience using a combustion analyzer.
• 2+ years of experience with linkageless burner control systems, such as:
  • Siemens LMV
  • Autoflame
  • Fireye
• Ability to troubleshoot steam and hydronic systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Team-oriented, positive attitude.
• Good driving record.
