Job summary

Boiler Technologies Unlimited, LLC in South Florida seeks a Service Technician to join our full-time hybrid team. The role combines on-site field work with in-office activities to ensure safe, efficient operation of boilers, burners, and control systems.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and coordinate with engineers and contractors while documenting all service activities. Travel to customer sites within Florida is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with mechanical or industrial equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues.
• Field service experience with on-site inspections and repairs.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Technical training or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial technology; boiler/burner experience beneficial.
• Ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and control diagrams; basic computer literacy.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites within Florida.
• Safety-focused, detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial boilers, burners, and control systems.

Role Description

The Service Technician role is a full-time, hybrid position based in South Florida, United States, with a mix of on-site field work and some in office activities. The Service Technician will perform routine and preventive maintenance on commercial and industrial boilers, burners, and related control systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and documenting all service activities accurately. The role involves traveling to customer sites for field service visits, coordinating with contractors and engineers, and providing clear, professional customer service and technical support. The Service Technician will also assist with system startups, inspections, basic training for end-users, and collaboration with sales and engineering teams to support solution-driven projects.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Maintenance & Repair and Maintenance skills, with hands-on experience working on mechanical or industrial equipment.
• Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting skills, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues on complex systems.
• Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site equipment inspections, repairs, and interaction with contractors and end-users.
