Job Title: Field Service Technician

PureHD LLC is a rapidly growing provider of commercial satellite television and streaming video services to the hospitality, healthcare, and other commercial sectors. We are seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver customer-facing installation and post-installation technical services for our Free-to-Guest and Interactive video systems. The role requires strong technical and troubleshooting skills in video and networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with customers to understand issues and explain technical information clearly.
• Diagnose and resolve problems with malfunctioning equipment.
• Manage appointments efficiently and adhere to schedules.
• Complete accurate reports about repairs and issues.
• Organize tools and paperwork while in the field.
• Practice and adhere to safety standards.

Technical Skill Sets

• Strong RF skills, with experience in QAM and L-Band signals.
• IP networking skills, including IP multicast, and experience with rack-mounted networking equipment.
• Experience with DOCSIS or h.Gn, balancing return paths is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, TCP/IP, UDP, and general Internet and networking technologies.

Qualifications

• Relevant education and work experience.
